What Kogiflow collects when you use this site or train with me, why, and what you can ask me to do about it.

Who I am

Kogiflow is Karen Fabara, a coach working in London and online. I am the data controller for the information described here, which covers this site and the coaching I provide. You can reach me at hello@kogiflow.com.

What I collect

When you book a call, the booking tool collects your name, email address, time zone and anything you write in the booking form.

When you train with me, I keep the training notes, goals, injury history and session videos you agree to, because I cannot program for you without them.

When you open the site, my host records what your browser sends: IP address, browser and operating system, language, the page you came from, the pages you looked at and when. Google Analytics records the same sort of thing, so I can see which pages are worth keeping. None of it tells me who you are, and it only runs if you accept analytics cookies.

Why I use it

To arrange and run the call, to write and adjust your programme, to send you the feedback and check-ins your programme includes, and to answer you when you get in touch.

Under UK data protection law my basis is the contract between us for coaching, my legitimate interest in replying to enquiries, and your consent for anything optional such as filming or analytics.

Who else sees it

The booking tool (Cal.com) and the video call service it creates, my email provider, Google Analytics, and the host that serves this site. Each of them only handles what it needs to do that job.

I do not sell your information and I do not share it for advertising. Your session videos are not posted anywhere without you agreeing to it first, each time.

I may also have to hand something over where the law requires it, such as a court order or a request from a public authority.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not become coaching: up to twelve months. Client records: for as long as we work together and for six years afterwards, which is how long I may need them for tax and insurance. Session videos: until you ask me to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of what I hold, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or object to how I use it. Email hello@kogiflow.com and I will answer within a month.

If you think I have got it wrong, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

Nothing but a record of your cookie choice is stored until you make one. Accept analytics and Google Analytics sets a cookie so it can tell one visit from the next; decline and it never loads at all.

You can change your mind whenever you like: the Cookies link in the footer brings the choice back. Your browser can also block or clear cookies for any site, this one included. If you open the booking tool it sets what it needs to work, and its own policy covers that.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and I do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18 through it. If you are under 18, please do not send me your details here: ask a parent or guardian to get in touch for you. If you believe a child has sent me something through this site, email me and I will delete it.

Keeping it safe

What I hold sits with reputable providers, behind accounts I control, and I only keep what I actually need. No transfer over the internet can be promised to be completely secure, so I cannot guarantee it absolutely, but I take it seriously.

If something does go wrong and your information is exposed, I will tell you and the Information Commissioner's Office where the law requires it, and I will tell you what happened and what I am doing about it.

Links out

This site links to places I do not run, such as Instagram and the booking tool. What they do with your information is covered by their own policies, not this one.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. If the change is a significant one, I will say so rather than leave you to spot it.

Hágale pues.

hágale pues · phrase · /ˈa.ɣa.le pwes/ · Colombian for "go on then", "let's do it".

A free fifteen-minute video call to chat about where you are and where you want to be, so we can see if we're a good fit.

Video call via Cal. London time, or yours if you're online.

This site would like to use Google Analytics, which sets one cookie so I can see which pages are worth keeping. It tells me nothing about who you are, and nothing loads unless you say yes.
